The name Canada comes from a St. Lawrence Iroquoian word, kanata, meaning "village" or "settlement". In 1535, indigenous inhabitants of the present-day Quebec City region used the word to direct French explorer Jacques Cartier towards the village of Stadacona. Cartier later used the word Canada to refer not only to that particular village, but also the entire area subject to Donnacona (the chief at Stadacona); by 1545, European books and maps had begun referring to this region as Canada.
Canada occupies a major northern portion of North America, sharing the land borders with the contiguous United States to the south and the U.S. state of Alaska to the northwest, stretching from the Atlantic Ocean in the east to the Pacific Ocean in the west; to the north lies the Arctic Ocean. By total area (including its waters), Canada is the second-largest country in the world—after Russia.
Canada is also one of the world's largest suppliers of agricultural products, particularly of wheat and other grains. Canada is a major exporter of agricultural products, to the United States but also to Europe and East Asia. As with all other developed nations the proportion of the population and GDP devoted to agriculture fell dramatically over the 20th century.
The general pattern of development for wealthy nations was a transition from a primary industry based economy to a manufacturing based one, and then to a service based economy. Canada did not escape this pattern - at its (abnormally high World War 2) peak in 1944, manufacturing accounted for 29% of GDP, declining to 15.6% in 2005. Canada has not suffered as greatly as most other rich, industrialized nations from the pains of the relative decline in the importance of manufacturing since the 1960s.
Canada is one of the few developed nations that is a net exporter of energy - in 2009 net exports of energy products amounted to 2.9% of GDP. Most important are the large oil and gas resources centred in Alberta and the Northern Territories, but also present in neighbouring British Columbia and Saskatchewan.

When I was like 12 years I went to Canada because my sister went to live there then we went to visit because my sister Marcela was the godmother of my new niece. I think to go to Canada has been the best experience that I have because I went with my sister with whom I get along better and she knew many places she has traveled extensively, visiting museums and other cities, my sister lived in Montreal, but we went to Quebec and Toronto are beautiful places, the place that I liked most was that Quebec is like a small but extremely attractive, everything was in good condition and clean.

From Childhood to teen age
1. 5 things that make me realize I was not a child any more:
There are things that have happened, things that made me know that I'm not a little girl. I can more easily notice when having to make a decision, that to me and is easier now to distinguish between what is good or bad for me, so I think the consequences if my decision brings. Also note that there have been changes in my physical. Another part is the relationships I've had a boyfriend for example, have a boyfriend when I became more responsible and more experiences I was living with someone at my side, having a boyfriend is serious and must always be respect, you to respect and give your place.
2. Recall an experience at school that was funny and that happened during junior high:
All my life I've always been more with the children for secondary school but was a stage in my life where I began to take even more with them, was also the time when I had a serious relationship with a child. But well in school was the only place where she lived with my friends and I never brought a really cool passes lunch to school and we were hungry so we always get aout of math class and went to the lockers or backpacks of other students and we stole the lunch, then ran into the living room math class and we stay in the corner of the class and there we were eating, fighting, all the experiences I had with my friends in high school were the best.
3. Make a reflection for the changes you have gone through over the last 5 years
In the last 5 years of my life I've been through a lot and problems, but now only remember the good things and fun that happens, I spent many happy moments with my family, are attached to them and we always do family trips are short but . Also for a year until recently I met a cute little boy with whom I lived many things, but now things in life are no longer together, in recent years I believe I have matured too, and that decisions I ever made have been the best. For two years I also promised to play the violin and continued until now with my classes.

Dancing
Dancing is the act of moving the body in rhythm, usually in time to music. It seems natural for people to express themselves through rhythmic movement. Young children jump up and down when they are excited and sway gently when content or at rest.
Dancing is both an art form and a form of recreation. Dance as art may tell a story, set a mood, or express an emotion. Some dances consist of symbolic gestures that tell a story completely through movement. As recreation, dancing has long been a people's source of fun, relaxation, and companionship. In earlier times, square dances gave families a welcome chance to socialize. Today dancing at a party or other gathering remains a popular way for people to enjoy themselves and to make new friends.
Dance does not often leave behind clearly identifiable physical artifacts that last over millennia, such as stone tools, hunting implements or cave paintings. It is not possible to say when dance became part of human culture. Dance has certainly been an important part of ceremony, rituals, celebrations and entertainment since before the birth of the earliest human civilizations. Archaeology delivers traces of dance from prehistoric times such as the 9,000 year old Bhimbetka rock shelters paintings in India and Egyptian tomb paintings depicting dancing figures from circa 3300 BC.
One of the earliest structured uses of dances may have been in the performance and in the telling of myths. It was also sometimes used to show feelings for one of the opposite gender. It is also linked to the origin of "love making." Before the production of written languages, dance was one of the methods of passing these stories down from generation to generation.
The signification of dance, is predicated of the affection of spiritual truth, and signifies its pleasantness or gladness. In ancient times gladness of heart was attested not only by musical instruments and songs, but also by dances. For joys of the heart, or interior joys, burst forth in the body into various acts, as into songs, and also into dances. And as in ancient times the gladnesses which excelled all others were spiritual gladnesses, that is, were from the affections of spiritual loves, which were those of good and truth, therefore also it was then allowed to add dances to the songs and musical harmonies, and in these ways also to testify joy. It is from this that dances are mentioned in the Word, and by them are signified gladnesses of the affections of truth or of faith, from good or charity, as in these passages.

CARTOONS
Drawn together, South park & The simpson
The cartoons have now evolved a lot, now no longer just for children but also for adults but these three cartoons (the simpsons, southpark drawn togetherand) in particular are not really suitable for minors as the language used is not appropriate for children, most of the words are rude and the characters are so vulgar.
In drawn together drawings mimic the format of reality shows like Big Brother and The Real World. So the characters are contestants locked in a house that must interact. The parody of the series goes further because his characters also caricatured characters from other cartoons, video games, and even a flash of the Internet, but with exaggerated personalities and attitudes to extremes. This series is for adults only, by its explicit subject matter and black humor. There lesbianism, homosexuality, nudity, eroticism, strong jokes, homophobia, racism, incest and everything politically incorrect.
South Park is an American animated sitcom. Intended for mature audiences, the show has become infamous for its crude, surreal, satirical, and dark humor that lampoons a wide range of topics. The ongoing narrative revolves around four children—Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman and Kenny McCormick—and their bizarre adventures in and around the titular Colorado town.
The Simpsons is an American comedy, animation formats. The series is a satire of American society about the life and day to day in a middle class family in that country (whose members are Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson) who lives in a fictional town called Springfield .
The town of Springfield acts as a complete universe in which the characters deal with the problems of modern society. By having Homer work in a nuclear plant can comment on the state of the environment. Following years of Bart and Lisa to Springfield Elementary School allows the show's writers illustrate controversial issues on the topic of education. The city also has a large number of television stations that allows filmmakers to make jokes about themselves and the world of entertainment.
