Mass Media

The mass media is constantly evolving tools. Most likely the first form of communication among humans was that of the signs and signals used in prehistoric times and reflected in material culture are different manifestations of prehistoric art. The appearance of writing is taken as a landmark of the beginning of history. From that moment, the economic and social changes were encouraging the emergence  and development of different media, from those related to writing and mechanization to the media linked to the age of electricity and the revolution in information and telecommunications, each of which are essential for different stages of the process called globalization .

The phone is a telecommunication device designed to transmit acoustic signals through electrical signals from a distance.

The concept refers to newspapers printed publications differ depending on their frequency. This frequency can be daily (where it is usually called every day, or more commonly newspaper), weekly (weekly or magazine), monthly (for many magazines) or annual (yearbook).

In the world has come the misuse of media because the  communication is not always truth and integrity as it should be so, there are also lies, and  everyone does what they want at their convenience, the laws do not lose and commit crimes through these.

In the world of the communication the chime an de rumor is a phenomenon that causes turmoil and makes a communication that enter and create doubts.

Contact is to meet other people our knowledge and thoughts. For communication there must be a transmitter, a receiver, a message and a channel through which to send the message. If any of these elements fails, it is said that there was interference and can´t establish communication. To send a message to use a common code to the sender and receiver.

The code can be:

Language: is the code completely, as spoken language or written can be understood a larger number of people other types of codes. No language: gestures, sounds and such signals are code, which is less accurate than above.

According to the intention of the sender, messages can be classified into expressive, informational, and names.

Internet is a decentralized set of interconnected communications networks that use the family of TCP / IP, ensuring that heterogeneous physical networks that make up work as a single logical network, worldwide.

Television is a system for transmitting and receiving moving pictures and sound at a distance. This transmission can be effected by radio or by specialized networks of cable television. The receiver of the signals is the TV.

Language and Gender

The language take an important place in the world because is the way we can comunicate with others. As we know they are so many ways to comunicate, we have the internet, by writting, by signs, etc; but all that ways to comunicate is language like the body language and the sign language. Without language people wouldn´t understand others.

They´re so many topics we can discuss or even just talk with others, but they´re few topics that man and woman can discuss. For example, a guy can´t talk with a girl of her sexual life or imagine a girl discussing with a boy about her menstrual period! It is not normal, but it is normal to hear a guy talking with an other guy about his sexual life (when they´re friends) or a girl discussing about what is the best kotex they can use. Girls talk about girly things, and boys talk about kid stuff. I think that the reaction that can lead a girl hearing a boy talking about porno, probably, it would be the same reaction that a girl talking with a boy about how handsom is Brad Pitt (if he´s not gay)...HORRIBLE!

Besides that and thanks god women and men, i don´t how, but we can comunicate. It´s the language and the intelligence to use it, call it art if you want but that give us the way to express our feelings, to demostrate what we need, to help others with the words, with the speak, to show love and show angry, even to show authority.

Language in some words discriminate women like in the word fireman, policeman, chairman, workman, etc. that´s not ok, the language, the offices doesn´t have sexuality , not that i know! but thank to the cabinet in the 1995 those words are, in certainly way, eliminated and replaced by: Firefighter, police officer, chair person, worker, etc. I think thats fair. Remember that women can make some things that men do!

Counter-culture

Several years ago, were young people dressing differently than they behaved in a way unconventional in almost every aspect of their life. They are groups that disagree with the traditional way of behaving, thinking and being: are the urban tribes.

The counterculture is a urban tribe that express their selfs with movements. Their feelings get different meanings and ways to see it. They want to confront and transcend the mainstream and be part of a group.

The counter-culture comes because within each culture there are differences that are given by age, socioeconomic status, social class, ethnicity, etc. That is why the coutercultures take origin in the cultures.

The counterculture movements emerge as an opposition to consumer society and in the totalitarian control of the state in where individual liberty is the affected.

The term originated in the counterculture of the postwar era in the United States emerged as a rebellion against the so-called "stable men": conservative patriots were over 35 years, whose mentality is often contrasted violently with the countercultural movements such as hippie, punk, cholos and others.

Well as many intellectuals of the generation of the "onda", who are those who lived his youth in the 60's, these people realized that the urban tribes were more than Cultures, and this discovery or thought were counterculture.
